In the texturizing process, the glass yarns or strands are
overfed in a nozzle in which a pressurized air stream creates a turbulence that causes the formation of loops and imparts a moderate bulk.

In the voluminizing process, the glass yarns or strands run trough the air nozzle without overfeeding which creates a high bulk effect desired in various application.




- Saint-Gobain Vetrotex provide a large range of texturized and voluminized products:
- Turbofil, ECO, ECT; ECTE for wall covering.
- ECO, ECOS for roofing and thermal insulation.
- In addition, yarn sized with T8G can generally be used for texturizing.

The size 5307G applied to 6µm 66 / 134 tex yarns(/DE 75 / 37) has been specially designed to provide excellent processability on air jet texturizing machines. Field of application are fabrics for gas filtration as well vertical blinds.
